The Cypress Chamber of Commerce produces five events a year, including the State of the City Luncheon, Student/Business Mentoring Breakfast, Corporate Challenge Golf Tournament, Business Awards & Installation Dinner and the Holiday Extravaganza. In addition, the Chamber is a strategic partner in the annual Cypress Community Festival.

State of the City Luncheon (January)

In what is promoted as the "kick-off"or each new year, the Chamber, in association with the City of Cypress, brings together members of the business community, residents, educators and other friends of the City for a "must-be-at" State of the City Luncheon. This popular and well attended luncheon features a keynote address by the Cypress Mayor, who highlights the City's accomplishments for the past year and outlines plans for future projects.

Student/Business Mentoring Breakfast (March)

This special mentoring breakfast is designed to bring together high school juniors with members of the business community who present a possible career choice for soon-to-be members of the workforce. This program is highly embraced by the City, elected officials, and the educational and business sectors.

Corporate Challenge Golf Tournament (May)

|
The ever popular Corporate Challenge Golf Tournament combines a day of golf, contests, good food, friendly challenges and capped by a dinner when we salute our honoree. The Corporate Challenge format, allowing businesses to challenge other businesses, make it a tournament within a tournament. There are prizes for a number of business categories and the usual top foursomes vie for the Chamber Cup.

Business Awards & Installation Dinner (June)

The Cypress Chamber Business Awards & Installation Dinner combines an evening of recognition to those business leaders who have contributed to the community with distinction along with those who have graciously committed to leading the Board of Directors for the coming year. Awards recipients are chosen for Lifetime Achievement, Man and Woman of the Year and Business of the Year.
