SUMMARY:2026 November Networking Breakfast
DESCRIPTION:Explore Anaheim Union's Career Connections Unlimited Program at the November Cypress Chamber of Commerce Networking Breakfast\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Cypress Chamber of Commerce will host Anjeanette Le Curan from the Anaheim Union High School District's Career Connections Unlimited (CCU) program at our November Networking Breakfast. The event will be held on Tuesday\, November 10th\, at the Residence Inn by Marriott at 4931 Katella Avenue\, Cypress/Los Alamitos\, beginning at 7:30 a.m.\n\nAnjeanette serves as an Employment Specialist for the CCU program\, where she manages grant funding that helps bridge the gap between school and the workforce for students in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). By connecting local Cypress and Orange County businesses with Anaheim students\, she works to shift perceptions away from limitations and instead highlight students' unique abilities\, workplace value\, and long-term potential.\n\nWith more than 20 years of service to the disabled community\, Anjeanette is a passionate advocate for inclusion and empowerment. After receiving an epilepsy diagnosis in her late 20s\, she transformed her personal experience into a professional mission focused on supporting and advocating for others navigating similar challenges.\n\nHer work with the Epilepsy Foundation Greater Los Angeles included facilitating therapy groups and providing critical community resources. She also spent years in the nonprofit sector helping to bridge service gaps and create opportunities for individuals with disabilities.\n\nFor the past decade\, Anjeanette has focused her efforts within public education's special needs programs\, ensuring students receive the support\, advocacy\, and opportunities needed to thrive in school and the workforce. Her presentation will highlight the importance of inclusive hiring\, workforce development\, and recognizing the strengths of the next generation of employees.\n\nEach Chamber breakfast attendee will also have the opportunity to introduce themselves and share about their business before the program begins.\n\nReservations are highly recommended and may be made online. Breakfast admission is $25.00. Attendees are encouraged to bring a door prize to help promote their business or service.\n\nThe program will include live networking\, self-introductions\, a breakfast buffet\, and the featured presentation. Chamber networking breakfasts are open to the public and held on the second Tuesday of every month. Space is limited\, and pre-registration is encouraged.
