DESCRIPTION:The Cypress Chamber of Commerce will welcome 72nd District Assemblywoman Janet Nguyen as our guest speaker at our October Networking Breakfast. Our event will be held Tuesday\, October 12th at the Residence Inn by Marriott at 4931 Katella Avenue\, Cypress/Los Alamitos starting at 7:30 a.m. and will follow all current protocols for attendee safety. Assemblywoman Nguyen will share an overview of the legislative initiatives impacting businesses and the community that were passed in the most recent legislative session.\n\n \n\nAssemblywoman Janet Nguyen represents much of west Orange County and many of the cities around Cypress such as Los Alamitos\, Seal Beach\, West Garden Grove and the unincorporated area of Rossmoor. She resides in Huntington Beach and is the first woman to represent the 72nd Assembly District\, the first Vietnamese-American in the country to be elected to serve both the State Senate and State Assembly\, the highest-ranking Vietnamese-American elected official in California and the only Asian American woman Legislator in California. Janet is also a small-business owner\, a former State Senator for the 34th Senate District and a former 1st District Orange County Supervisor.\n\n \n\nAttendees will also have an opportunity to stand and introduce themselves and their business before the program begins.\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Chamber breakfasts\, which are open to the public\, are held on the second Tuesday of every month.
