Chamber Student Business Breakfast - 2024

The Cypress Chamber of Commerce is looking for mentors in all fields of work who would like to be a part of our popular annual Student-Business Mentor Breakfast on Tuesday, January 14th 2025. This will be an opportunity to share your wisdom, background and subject matter expertise and talk to students over breakfast. We're honored to bring back this Chamber program that is geared for high school juniors and seniors where mentors are matched with students who have expressed a career interest in your area of work. The key areas of interest are healthcare, business, finance, engineering, arts & media, education, law and various fields of science. Please register with the link and share your field of expertise.

Our keynote speaker this year is Mandi Ortiz, Senior Manager, Live Entertainment for the Las Vegas Raiders. Mandi is an Orange County native who attended Cypress High and Chapman University where she graduated in 2016 Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts, Strategic and Corporate Communication and a minor in Broadcast Journalism.

Prior to joining the Raiders Mandi was the Marketing and Entertainment Manager of the Anaheim Angels. She started her career with the Angels while still at Chapman and moved up through the ranks. She also worked in entertainment for the Anaheim Ducks and on special events like Major League Soccer's All-Star Game in Los Angeles. Additionally, Mandi helped run her family's former restaurant, Subs and Grub, for five years post-graduation.

Our event will be held at the Cypress Community Center at 5700 Orange Avenue in Cypress Starting from 7:00am – 9:00am.

The Student-Business Breakfast is a free event for both the students and mentors and is made possible by the support of our sponsors. For many years McDonald’s of Cypress has been the primary sponsor and generously donated the breakfast and a team of employees for this event and will once again be providing the food. Other key supporters for 2020 include: ENO Brands, SoCalGas, Mach 5 Insurance, Kinetic Mortgage, ECOS, Avenue Property Management, and The City of Cypress.

This year, in return for a $500 sponsorship we will add your name to our sponsor boards at the event, mention your company name on stage at the event, add a 300 x 300 pixel ad to our Cypress Chamber website for 3 months and include your name in our press releases.
